Our return and cancellation policy is here to make everything clear and easy for you. Please read below to understand how we handle cancellations, returns, and refunds.
1. Cancellation Policy
- Time to Cancel: You can cancel your order within 12 hours after placing it. After 12 hours, cancellations won’t be accepted as your order will be processed.
- How to Cancel: To cancel, please contact us at Accounts@vedayatra.in with your order details within the specified timeframe.
2. Return Policy
At Vedayatra, we take great care in delivering high-quality, well-packaged products. However, in case you receive a damaged or defective item, here’s what you need to know:
- Eligibility for Return: Returns are only accepted under the following conditions:
- The product received is defective or damaged.
- You received the wrong item.
Please note that to return an item, it must be unused, in its original packaging, and include all accessories and proof of purchase.
- Reporting a Return: You must report if there are any defective or damaged products within 48 hours of delivery. Requests for return beyond 48 hours will not be entertained. Please include an unedited video showing the unboxing of the parcel as evidence.
- Video Proof: Make sure your video shows the unopened parcel from all angles and capture the unboxing process, mainly focusing on the damaged part.
- Inspection: Upon receiving the returned product or reviewing the unboxing video as proof, we will conduct a thorough quality check. If the product meets our return criteria, we will proceed with initiating the refund.
- Non-Returnable Items: You cannot return:
- Customized products made exclusively for the customer.
- Products damaged due to misuse or negligence by the customer.
- Items without original packaging, accessories, or proof of purchase.
3. Refund Policy
- How We Refund: If the returned product passes our quality check, your refund will be sent to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
- Refund for Canceled Orders: If you cancel your order within the 12-hour window, the refund will be initiated promptly without any charge. However, if you cancel your order after 12 hours, a cancellation fee of ₹300 will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Refund on Damaged/Defective Products: Only the value of the returned product will be refunded. Any additional shipping or handling charges will not be refunded.
- For Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: In case of a return, customers must provide their bank details for the refund to be processed. Future COD orders may be declined if payment is refused upon delivery.
4. Return Shipping and Pick-up
- Return Initiation: The customer must initiate the return process. If you wish to return a defective or damaged product, please get in touch with our customer support team to begin the process.
- Shipping: Customers are responsible for shipping the product back to us. Please ensure the product is securely packed to avoid any damage during transit. Vedayatra will not be responsible for products damaged during the return shipping.
- Return Address: Our team will provide the return address once your request is approved.
- Return Shipping Costs: The customer will bear the return shipping costs. In cases where the customer opts for a refund without returning the product, a shipping charge will be deducted from the refund amount as per our policy.
Once you have shipped the product back, please share the tracking details with our customer service team. This will help us process your return, refund, or exchange in a timely manner.

- Our Decision: Vedayatra has the final say on all return and refund requests.
- Product Variations: There may be slight differences in product colour, design, or look compared to the website pictures.
- Updates: We’ll keep you updated about your return or refund by email.
